Gift Card Extravaganza
We never know what to get someone. Maybe, we want to do something special but just can't fit it into our busy schedule. That's one of the reasons gift cards have become so popular. According to the American Greetings Association, the sale of gift cards are expected to reach $78 billion dollars this year. Easy to find almost everywhere and every price range. Our KB client wanted to gift a huge array of various themed cards from gas cards, department store cards, restaurant cards and car maintenance cards. Everything her daughter could use and enjoy for her journey back to school. She topped it off by presenting this magnificent gift on her daughter's birthday. She also included homemade chocolate chip cookies. The freshly made cookies were placed in two large towering gold gift boxes perked high in a large, white, willow, princess basket. The main focus of this presentation was to compliment the gift cards by placing them in eight beautiful gold gift boxes tied with delicate, maroon colored, chiffon, organza ribbon; the University of Minnesota school colors. Live, aromatic Stargazer lilies, a favorite of our clients, were given special attention and placed delicately amongst the multitude of gift boxes at just the right moment as to ensure fresh perky petals on the day of delivery. Atop a gift package sat a 9" high, stuffed University of Minnesota plush Golden Gopher. Sure to warm this young woman's heart while away from home. A school gopher guide will provide valuable, around campus, information for the student, so was neatly tucked in around the raspberry flavored dipping fudge and specialty pretzels. Chocolates and other enhancements like the huge Punchinello and organza bow completed the look. This fashionable client said, "Congratulations, I'm so proud of you, Happy Birthday and I Love You" all in one big beautiful gift presentation. Photos of the basket were included, as they are in all Karsten Baskets over $100. That way the gift can be enjoyed long after the cookies are eaten and the gift cards spent; memories of happy gifting moments will stay behind. Gift cards can be given in so many ways.
